Guardian Products, a national leader in the promotional products business, has an immediate opening for a Senior Accounting Associate in our Norcross headquarters. The Accounting Team Associate is responsible for processing vendor invoices and generating payments, invoicing customers, and preparing sales and use tax returns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process sales order, vendor invoices, and shipping information; and prepare invoices to customers.
- Vouch vendor invoices for payment.
- Researches discrepancies on vendor invoices.
- Contact customers to collect payment.
- Prepare sales & Use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist the Controller including creating spreadsheets, preparing journal entries, and performing trial balance account analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree with emphasis in business.
- 5+ years experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
- The agility to handle multiple tasks with time-sensitive, competing deadlines.
- The capability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to present a positive and professional image.
- Possess a positive “How can I help” attitude.
- Experience with MAS200/500 and SalesLogix is preferred.

An Account Manager – BDC is responsible for driving new customer acquisition through outbound calling targeted to specific markets. Candidates must have the ability to discover and analyze prospects needs, determine which products will appeal the most to the prospect and present those products in a professional manner.
Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Experience working in a Business to Business sales driven environment.
- The ability to produce results on a daily basis.
- The judgment and discretion to handle challenging customers and overcome multiple objections.
- The capability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong self discipline, interpersonal skills, and the ability to persuade others.
- Ability to present a positive and professional image over the telephone.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SalesLogix or similar CRM software is preferred.
